The artwork by Margaret A. Phillips & Mayann Weinberg will illustrate a sweet story of friendship through an art exhibit that showcases the work of two women who met over 30 years ago. Weinberg is a Stamford-based mixed media artist who embraces many forms of art, frequently combining techniques, while Phillips focuses on fiber art and drawing. On view through Nov 8.
Enjoy drinks and small bites and explore a small part of a large, rich tattoo history - a once sacred art form that has been part of the innate human desire to mark the body since the beginning of time. This personal collection is curated by artist Jim LoPresti and includes tattoo antiquities and photos of tattoo collectors, from primitive to modern culture.
In an artistic endeavor that transcends canvas and paint, this exhibition is a unique fusion of artistic expression and environmental advocacy. Spotlighting a topic of global concern – the quality of the air we breathe - the show includes the work of artists, including Cultural Alliance members Felicity Kostakis and Lisa Cuscuna.

This reception celebrates TWO exhibits: “Visible Rhythms” features 12 artists and a vibrant kaleidoscope of restless technicolor abstractions and “Evan Lindquist Engraves Engravers” is an exhibition of 30 copperplate engravings, exploring the stories of individual engravers. On view through Oct 29.
