Grab your family and friends and get ready to compete in the annual scarecrow building competition, dance to live music by the Trummytones, and enjoy delicious food from Walters Hot Dogs and Gelato & Cioccolato. All scarecrow materials are provided with purchase and judges will award prizes to winners at the end of the event.
The Organization of Chinese Americans, Fairfield County (OCAFC) is pleased to invite families to a celebration that includes the telling of the story of Chang-Er, the Moon Goddess and the story of teas along with a tasting. Children will make paper lanterns to take home and moon cakes will be served. Look out for the Moon Goddess dressed in traditional garb!
Theatre Artists Workshop proudly presents a benefit production of new works, marking the 40th anniversary and featuring 10 diverse and eclectic short works. Categories include comedy, tragedy, spoken word, movement and original song.

The Studio will be open all day with a special day of tours and art-making inspired by the colossal sculptures of Raven Halfmoon, an Oklahoma-born artist who pulls from centuries-long traditions of Caddo pottery and her own contemporary storytelling. Join guided tours of Raven Halfmoon’s exhibition “Flags of Our Mothers,” then stay to create coil pots. Tours offered at 1 pm and 3 pm.
