Celebrate the achievements of Latino and Hispanic artists in the current exhibition, "Hidden Gems from the Housatonic Museum of Art." In this tour, you'll learn about the art of Paul Camacho, Marisol Escobar, Felix Gonzalez-Torres, and Gladys Triana. Feel inspired by their incredible artworks and enjoy afternoon sweets from a local Latino bakery.
“FASHION KILLA:” HOW HIP HOP REVOLUTIONIZED HIGH FASHION

Music journalist and pop culture expert Sowmya Krishnamurthy discusses the sociopolitical forces that defined fashion and tracks the influence of music and streetwear on the most exclusive (and exclusionary) luxury brands, names in fashion, and couture houses. Commemorate the contributions of hip-hop to music, fashion, and our culture on the 50th anniversary year of hip-hop.

Just in time for Friday the 13th, travel back in time with New York-based stage and film actor Bryan Patrick Stoyle when he brings to life the haunting tale of a Connecticut schoolmaster’s destiny in Washington Irving’s “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.” Enjoy treats and a few tricks! Gain early access and a preview of the 23rd Juried Art Show, with works by local and regional artists on sale in support of the library. The party includes a silent auction, full bar and heavy hors d’oeuvres, a “bubbly wall,” and an interactive art experience. Come celebrate and mix & mingle with contemporaries in the art world.

LOCKWOOD-MATHEWS MANSION MUSEUM'S "GET IN THE GROOVE!" 1960S GALA

This 1960s-inspired event will celebrate a tumultuous yet celebratory era for the Lockwood-Mathews Mansion, which opened to the public for the first time in 1966 to later become a National Historic Landmark and award-winning institution. FeaturING special presentations, a DJ, 1960s music and dancing, a live auction, and dinner.
Featuring comedian Roy Wood Jr., a correspondent on Comedy Central's The Daily Show and host of the 2023 White House Correspondents' Dinner. Come for a great time while supporting a Westport-based organization dedicated to preventing and ending homelessness in Fairfield County.
