Known for their harmonies and guitar-driven melodies, BBMak's sound has been likened to The Beatles and Oasis. Their music style blends melodic pop with rock and roll influences, making it appealing to fans of both genres.
Celebrate Caribbean Heritage month by learning to cook iconic heritage dishes from different islands. Chef Kashia Cave, a noted Trinidadian trained chef and founder of My City Kitchen, a nonprofit that teaches culinary skills to young people will be your instructor for this class. This year, Chef Kashia is in Chef Carla Hall’s Favorite Chef competition. Attendees work in groups and at the end of the evening share in a feast of their final dishes with wine in the historic 7-sided Cobblestone Barn.
Pianist David Morgan is a local treasure! The rare blend of world class Jazz artistry with a focus on improving the quality of life for all of us here at home in Fairfield County. And, he is pretty funny, too.
This summer’s outdoor chamber music series will focus on Early Music, a relatively loose term encompassing all choral and instrumental music stretching from the early Middle Ages through the Renaissance and to the middle of the 17th century. This music is marked by beautiful, textured vocals and melodic harpsichords and lutes, and there is no better place to enjoy this beauty of sound than Pequot Library’s Great Lawn.

He recently became the second highest grossing touring comedian and is one of the most watched comedians on YouTube with over 1.1 billion views and over 25 million fans on social media. Iglesias has been included in The Hollywood Reporter’s “Top 40 Comedy Players” issue alongside comedy giants Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock and Lorne Michaels.
