As you know, today is Giving Day: an entire 24-hour day dedicated to focused and concentrated donations to registered nonprofit organizations. We hope you will help us meet our goal of $3,000 for the day. At noon we are one-third of the way there.
While there are many worthy organizations, and while many of you may have primary commitments to other nonprofits, I am asking you to please continue your support for what we do and for how we plan to expand and deepen our programs from today forward. With a Listening Campaign, our ongoing Collective Action Against Racism and Inequity (CAARI) initiative and our soon-to-be- announced SEED program (Sowing Equity and Engagement by Design) we are working hard to sustain our cultural infrastructure where all may contribute their voices and be heard.
