Data Design Community of Practice
Bridging local arts and culture experience to statewide impact and national research
The Cultural Alliance of Fairfield County announces an inaugural professional development opportunity for its members. The Data Design Community of Practice (CoP) will provide you with the perspectives and skills needed to expand your understanding of data practices grounded in equity.
Data Design CoP participants will individually complete a five-module online course as well as engage in full group conversations to support mutual learning of key knowledge concepts and help identify data entry points for implementation. The Community of Practice is designed to advance both your organizational direction and generate collective insights for the regional arts and culture community. This initiative will be co-facilitated by Dr. Angela K. Frusciante, an expert in the knowledge design field, and John Cusano, an organizational design professional steeped in the arts and culture world.
The Data Design program will run for approximately twelve weeks from early April (specific date still to be determined) to the end of June. The full group discussions will be scheduled based on participant availability (maximum 8 sessions over the program period). Fees for the Community of Practice are offered on a sliding scale and include both the online course and the facilitated group learning. (Note: fees start at $650 for smaller organizations, with additional individuals from an organization at a rate starting at $20). Following the course and conversations, participants will have the opportunity to purchase individually-focused, sliding scale consulting time to further guide their understanding and implementation.
