| | | | | The Cultural Alliance of Fairfield County (CAFC) connects communities through the power of the arts and culture - their immense ability to help us understand and appreciate our common humanity through the shared stories and emotional connections channeled through the colors, sounds, forms and meaning-making fashioned by artists and other creatives.
Today we are increasingly focused on providing platforms for a broader multiplicity of perspectives and experiences throughout our region, and to illuminate the rich diversity of cultures that make up our community. CAFC is now engaged in raising money to fund a team of "Culture Connectors," a regional network of listeners and learners who will help us deepen the region's flourishing arts and cultural life. We are committed to placing equity at the heart of everything we do. |

| Culture Connectors are your neighbors. They will be equity stewards at the core of a newly forming network devoted to collapsing the barriers that isolate people and cultures across our region. Culture Connectors listen intently, learn collectively, and show us how to connect a broad diversity of people and cultures in meaningful ways. They provide the Cultural Alliance an unprecedented multiplicity of perspectives and experiences. They inform our planning and program designs and help us respect and cherish the people, cultures and traditions that make up our region's rich cultural landscape.
