| Schubert Mass in E-flat Thurs. July 27 St Matthew's Episcopal Church, Wilton
Join Music on the Hill for a Summer Chorus performance of the Schubert Mass in E-Flat led by artistic director Ellen Dickinson. The Mass is one of Schubert's last major works, rarely performed but filled with the lyrical beauty for which he was admired. (More)

Marianela Medrano, published poet and activist, will share her work, including a recent piece published in the Afro-Latino anthology, ¡Manteca! the first poetry anthology to highlight writings by Latinos of African descent. Norwalk Straight from Hungary, the Liget Dance Ensemble will be performing at Crystal Theatre. Center for Contemporary Printmaking
This workshop combines encaustic painting with printmaking by creating collagraph plates that use wax to make the printable surface. Participants will be able to experiment with inlaying and incising techniques to create texture and build their images on re-usable plexi-glass plates. (More) |
