Monica Tiulescuis a Connecticut-based New York City-raised artist and educator. She has been teaching architecture design, art, and digital media since 2000 both at the high school and college level. Monica's paintings explore fluctuations between disfiguration and figuration between layered fields and familiar beings. Her species work utilizes concepts derived from observations that demonstrate in biological systems. Her photography captures spontaneous moments, performance, and atmospheric conditions. WEBSITE

Adair Heitmann presented her humorous true story “Seek and You Shall Not Find” at PechaKucha-Bridgeport during the Bridgeport Art Trail on November 12, 2023. She was joined by other storytellers who told authentic, personal stories — interesting experiences demonstrating passion and creativity. The theme of IRONY was thread through quick-paced visual stories of 20 images told in 6 minutes and 40 seconds. WEBSITE
Eugenie Diserio is on view from Nov. 26 through Dec. 10 with "Entanglement" (acrylic, glitter on canvas, 10 x 10”) and four other works in “Deck The Walls,” the annual small works exhibit and wreath auction at Carriage Barn Arts Center. Her painting, "Passion Hurricane" is also featured in The Barn's “Off The Wall” Benefit and Holiday Party on Nov. 29. The Bridgeport Art Trail celebrated 15 years of arts and culture for four days from November 9 through November 12, offering city-wide open studios and a diverse range of art installations, music, poetry, and film. Voting is now open for the 2023 Broadway World Connecticut Awards - which are back bigger than ever, celebrating the best in local theatre of the past decade! The 2023 Regional Awards honor regional productions, touring shows, and more which had their first performance between October 1, 2022 through September 30, 2023.
