Thank you for your continuing support of the cultural community, and of the Cultural Alliance of Fairfield County (CAFC). This was another challenging year, and we are very proud of what we accomplished together as an arts and culture network.
As you know, CAFC has remained stalwart as the behind-the-scenes backbone and support of the cultural activity of our region - connecting artists, venues and businesses to each other and to the public. We continue to weave the web of the cultural infrastructure that brings joy, mental well-being, spiritual uplift and economic drive to the 15 towns we serve - from Greenwich to Shelton.
From marketing arts events, to the regular convening and connecting of members, to our advocacy for the community’s needs, we are always there, on-the-ball, ready to assist and lead.
During the darkest days of the COVID pandemic, when artists and venues were looking for direction, our weekly Community Calls shared up-to-the-minute information about grants, unemployment, crisis management, and more. We helped members pivot to going digital, and kept the E-Buzz going, showing how resilient this community was.
We are proud of our work in keeping the community together during the last two years and excited about what’s on the horizon. The experience of COVID and heightened awareness of the inequities the pandemic revealed, have led us to commit to embracing and celebrating a much greater diversity of people, perspectives and traditions, with equity at the heart of all we do.
Our goal is to raise $15,000 by New Year’s Eve. We’re almost there - just $2,900 left to raise over these 3 days! Please help us reach our goal. Your gift will help expand the reach of CAFC services.
