EVERYONE HAS A STORY TO TELL
How is the pearl made in the sea? On the bottom of the ocean, a grain of sand enters the shell, there in the moist darkness, the constant irritation creates a wound. The harder layers that form in the healing process create the beautiful pearl. Our lives are made of countless experiences, some joyful and some hard and unsolved, in this week's session we will look at how those experiences can be taken and formed into tales conveying a powerful universal message.In this week's course, you will dig into your own lives and share some of your memories and get some valuable tips on how to craft and perform your stories in order to captivate your audience.

| | From the tribe's Shaman to the Ted talk star. In this series of 3 workshops, we will explore the ancient art of storytelling, starting from its ancient roots all the way to its modern-day contemporary revival. In each session, we will focus on a particular genre of stories. After a short insightful introduction illuminating the nature of the genre, you will receive a story and learn specific techniques, to improve your storytelling skills, both as a writer as well as a teller. There is no requirement to follow the entire series, each workshop can be taken independently. The workshops fit beginners with a general curiosity as well as working storytellers/poets/comics/performers who wish to improve their knowledge and skills. |
