Dear DriverXers,
No matter how you came to our project, you probably know about our lead actor, Patrick Fabian, who has been acting professionally for over 25 years and currently appears as Howard Hamlin on Better Call Saul, as well as starring on other TV shows and feature films. Patrick plays the lead character Leonard in DriverX and trust me, he is terrific! If all you know Patrick from is parts where he's wearing a suit, you will be pleasantly surprised by his performance here, where he is decidedly NOT the assured lawyer he plays on AMC.
But, did you know that DriverX also features over 50 other actors? Yes! And we are incredibly proud of the cast we were able to put together for the film, especially when you consider our puny budget. It's a testament to our director, Henry Barrial, who is so sensational with actors, and our casting directors Vanessa Knight and David Seiden, that we were able to assemble such a talented bunch.
I wanted to introduce you to a few of those folks over the coming weeks and months. Perhaps you've seen a number of them in other movies or on TV. But even if you're familiar with their work, you might be surprised to learn a few of the interesting facts that I dug up about them! So, consider these emails as a kind of Get To Know Your Cast!

| WHY DOES SHE LOOK FAMILIAR? |
| If you're a fan of Cinemax's TV series Banshee, then you probably recognize Chicago-born, Canadian-raised Tanya Clarke from her role as Emily Lotus on the show. She's also appeared in numerous feature films--everything from the indie film Delivery Method (where she received a Method Fest Best Actress nomination), to A Beautiful Mind, which won the Academy Award for Best Picture--and in many other TV series, including popular shows like Grey's Anatomy, American Horror Story, Glee, and many others. She plays Queen Rynda in the upcoming Marvel show Inhumans, (premiering on ABC Sept. 29th), and is currently shooting a new feature called Sidelined.

| HER START IN SHOW BUSINESS
Tanya's first professional gig was as a Magician's Assistant (I shit you not!). According to Tanya, "I was 15 years old. During a gig at a mall, I had to tie up the magician with ropes so it would appear impossible for him to get out of the bind. I tied the wrong knot. I tied the reef knot. He really did struggle and it took a long time. Eventually, somehow, he got out. That was my last gig as a magician's assistant."
CAREER HIGHLIGHT
In addition to TV and Film, Tanya is an accomplished stage actor, and starred in the Broadway production of I'm Not Rappaport opposite Judd Hirsch and Ben Vareen.
HER FAVORITE THING IN THE WORLD
Black tea with a splash of milk and honey, early in the morning on a beach walk with her giant shepherd mix, Charlie.
HER OTHER PASSION |
| | Tanya is also a successful artist. She creates something called Liquid Lights, which are custom-built industrial designed light pieces designed to start conversations about water. A percentage of all proceeds go towards education and action on global water issues.
