Before this band existed I was fairly active as a photographer. I made a pretty wide range of work that I showed in a whole bunch of different galleries, between 1998 and 2009. But it always was a 'second love' for me - and after awhile I realized I had to focus if I ever wanted to get anywhere with my music. So the photography stopped and shortly after that, Double Eyelid began.
Anyways, recently I took a fresh look at the work I made during this time and it honestly surprised me how good it was. I started sharing it to our social media and the feedback I got was incredible! So I decided to make a simple website to make some of it available to anyone who is interested.
I'm officially launching it tomorrow, but because you're on our email list, you're getting the link right now:
It's a very simple gallery site. Right now it has 5 pieces up, along with a bunch of information about my process, how and when the work was made, and more! The plan is to keep those up for 3 months and then change the 'show'. But we'll see how this goes, this is brand-new and unofficially launching with this email- so who knows what will happen?
