Weekend Dog Obedience & Training Seminar Dog Gone Seattle is sponsoring a weekend seminar with the very talented Amy Pishner of Valor K9 Academy. While this seminar is open to the general public, we are offering attendance first to those in the rescue community. This seminar will specifically address how to bring a shelter dog into your home, how to read a dog's body language to prevent problems before they arise, the importance of structure and boundaries, common problems such as dog/human reactivity, fearfulness, separation anxiety, resource guarding, and how to help dogs with poor social skills. This is a seminar you don't want to miss!
Saturday, May 5th - Sunday May 6th, 9:00am - 5:00pm Academy of Canine Behavior 4705 240th St E, Bothell |

| Suffering from seizure activity, Fay needs an MRI!
Fay is a sweet mixed breed girl who we just took in from Texas, only to discover that she suffers from almost constant facial tremors. We have done bloodwork and an ultrasound which were inconclusive. She is currently on seizure medication and CBD but we would like to do an MRI: this will help us understand the cause of her condition and her prognosis. Unfortunately, an MRI is cost prohibitive for a rescue so we would appreciate any contributions to this diagnostic for the lovely Fay. If you would like donate directly to our vet, Fay is being seen at Third & Stewart Animal Wellness and donations can be made in her name at (206) 602-6369. |
