Dear Friend,

In case you were not able to join us, we'll give you the answer to our question yesterday as to the significance of July 2 for our country.

Actually, there are two answers.

One, it was on July 2, 1776, that independence from Great Britain was declared. After two days of edits, the Declaration of Independence was signed on July 4, but it was on the 2nd that the decision was made.

Secondly, on July 2, 1847, the Holy See approved the request for the Immaculate Conception to be the Patroness of the United States - precisely 175 years ago!

So join others from across the country in prayer for our great and beautiful nation and to show our love for our Patroness.

Represent your diocese and state

Our goal is to have at least one prayer warrior represented from each of the United States and even each diocese joining us in prayer. In this way, we will genuinely be UNITED, and most significantly. Hopefully, you can help us make this happen as a gift to Our Lady.
