Online Prayer Meeting and ____________________________________________________________ Holy Family Ministry Center | | Unveiling & Blessing of Pieta in Texas Bishop Patrick Zurek will celebrate Mass on Sunday, September 3, to unveil and bless a replica of Michelangelo’s most famous sculpture, the Pieta, entrusted to the Holy Family Ministry Center in Hartly, Texas. The sculpture is one of 100 exact replicas of the Pieta made with the permission of the Vatican and Arte Divine and placed all over the world. It draws those who believe into the mystery of God’s love for them as they gaze upon Jesus held in the arms of His Mother Mary. In anticipation of the event, Joan and Dave will broadcast from the site today, joined by ministry directors and statue guardians Ed and Nan Weber and Fr. Ron Mathews. | |
