As Divine Mercy devotees, St. Faustina should be one of our very best role models because she was instructed in how to grow in holiness by the Lord himself, and He made her take notes!

Saint Faustina went to great lengths to write as much as she possibly could at the Lord's insistence because He said it would be of great profit to souls. Thankfully, we have access to these precious notes published in her diary, Divine Mercy in My Soul.

Today we dive into the Diary to learn a bit about how St. Faustina fasted and how the Lord told her to do so to have great power before His Father.

Let's reflect on how we measure up to our role model and pray for her intercession to help us be more like her and, thus, more pleasing to the Lord. It's Lent. Let's do it.
