Peter Lepre weighed just 2 1/2 pounds when he was born. His life was so fragile that with the consent of Peter's father, the nurse baptized him and named him after her husband.
Peter's premature birth resulted in several medical issues. Still, the Lord put people in his path to lead him on an extraordinary journey of faith and suffering to benefit many souls. In 2007 the Marian Fathers awarded him the title of Envoy for Mercy, charging him to share the Divine Mercy message by doing an act of mercy every day and living this message as best possible.
After two years of recovery from a serious illness, he ventured out to parishes to share the Divine Mercy message. Despite many roadblocks and even rejection, he has become connected with many Catholic evangelists and movements over the years. The Lord eventually spoke to Peter's heart about His desire for Peter to speak about His true presence in the Eucharist, which is what Peter faithfully does whenever he can! |
