Amruth was ordained to the priesthood on February 20, 2014, for the diocese of Kurnool, India. In 2017 the Carmelite nuns in his parish gave him the Diary of St. Faustina. So moved by the message, Father Amruth worked for four years translating the book into Telugu, his native dialect spoken by 100 million souls. The Diary was published and distributed to all the priests in three dioceses at the Chrism masses last year. In January, he began a new adventure in Great Britain, where his bishop sent him to serve the next three years. From there, he will work to promote and grow Divine Mercy for India. |
