1. Cultivate the Fruits of the Holy Spirit Last month, the guest speakers for the online prayer meeting and holy hour for our nation each spoke on a different Gift of the Holy Spirit. This month our speakers will each delve into the Fruits of these Gifts and how they manifest themselves in our behavior. Do you know the nine Fruits of the Spirit? Can they be found in you? How can they grow and ripen on your path to holiness? Join us daily, beginning today, or catch the recording so your prayers and sacrifices for neighbor and country may be more fruitful! 2. Show your PRIDE for Being Catholic This month we celebrate some wonderful feast days. Celebrate them! Encourage your pastor to have a Eucharistic procession on the Feast of Corpus Christi and special devotions for the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. At the least, do something special on your own. Pray for the conversion of sinners constantly, especially the Blood and Water prayer. 3. Pray the Rosary Daily and Fast on Fridays Do your best to pray all the mysteries of the Rosary each day. Make a plan to do so. Don't worry if you can't recite more than one or two mysteries every day; try to do more and pray more devoutly. The Gifts of the Holy Spirit should help you if you try. The same goes for fasting. Think of who and what we are battling against and for, and you should be fortified in your resolve.
4. Prepare Yourself and Others for the Warning Through a series of "God-incidences" last October, we were prompted to give a talk that we have been waiting to give for many years on the Illumination of Conscience or the Warning with the focus not so much on the details of the Warning, but more importantly on how to prepare for it. In March, we were invited to give this talk again at Our Lady's Center in Ellicott City, Maryland. We finally had the chance to publish the recording a few weeks ago. The video now has close to over 100,000 views and that is without us even sending an email promoting it. Many orders have been placed for materials mentioned in the presentation. |
