Due to massive demand and requests we have added a new Standards Check and Beyond Workshop to the 2016 diary.
This workshop is ideal for anyone eagerly anticipating a Standards Check invitation or for those wanting to develop skills following the feedback from a recent Standards Check experience.
The workshop will give you some inside knowledge of what to expect and how to ensure that, come the day, you feel prepared as well as giving you an opportunity to see how the criteria you are being graded against is adapted into your everyday teaching.
Louise Walsh has been supporting and training ADIs since the new SC format came in in April 2014. Louise will give you a back seat view of what its like to be in the hot seat! Having sat in and observed over 60 Standards Checks over the last two years this makes her well placed to pass on information and advice, real life examples and suggestions on how to avoid the most common pitfalls . To help prepare you for the day Louise will introduce you to some coaching methods such as scaling and mind mapping. The day is yours and adaptable if the needs of the group change.
