I pick my bones out of bed one by one. It's 4:30 am. Like every morning, I'm sore enough to think "I can't even climb into the Rover."


First thing is 20 ounces of spring water. Next, gravity-feed coffee. I prep it like I'm packing a parachute. It's a ritual, not coffee.


Ideally, my day would be filled with writing. That's my favorite thing to do...probably because the Internet is a f@#king
echo-chamber, filled with wanna-be's and me-too's hollering like hyena's on meth for attention through shitty podcasts, limp social media posts and ill-thought-out videos.


...someday I hope I stop giving a sh#t.


Authenticity has been wiped from the chalkboard of life. Very few are willing to sit down, tear open their rib cage and press their guts onto the computer screen.


No authenticity begets no progress.


I'm all about progress, even if it means picking my bones out of bed 1% faster each day. The only exception would be if I'm feeling greedy enough to wake up my wife to put skin on skin.


Alas, I'm ready to pull myself away from the keyboard. It's 6am. I'm going to the gym.


It takes an act of God (or sex) to keep me from the gym in the morning.


Working out is the catalyst for connecting you to your passions in life.


I've learned that pushing my physical limits is vital for keeping my own unique “life identifier” in tact! Science explains it through proper hormone balance, output and sensitivity (BOS).

Proper hormone BOS preserves and protects your true self and purpose. It keeps us focused, determined, clear headed and energized.


Anything that disrupts your hormone BOS, severs you from your TRUE SELF! That means poor hormone BOS leads to ignorant fixations on life’s small, mundane issues and AFFLUENZA! It makes you a sloppy b@#tch.


Look around, it's everywhere! The average person is 50 pounds overweight. What a joke.


If you can't take care of yourself, you sure as F@CK can't take care of anyone else.


Rant over...

The more challenging and consistent my workout, the more it shapes my perspective and reminds me of everything Im doing wrong...

The perspective I get from my daily workout makes me better/stronger equipped to react to external pressures rather than become victim to them. Self worth goes sky high and I see opportunity where everyone else sees victimhood.


See?


The workout isn't about the physique...hell, sometimes it isn't even about being healthy. It's about harnessing that hormone BOS to get better connected to my purpose.


It's that important.
