It was a cloudy day in Los Angeles and I was flying to Santa Barbara. The weather predicted clear skies for a couple of hours at my destination, and there was a break in the clouds for my departure.

On my way there it got cloudy, fast.

I flew above the layer and kept flying north. Or, so I thought.

The air traffic controller keyed his mic to ask me, "are you flying to Hawaii, today, sir?"

Without any ground reference, the wind had blown me off course. I corrected and made it just in time to Santa Barbara.

This week has been similarly "off course," courtesy of a heavy work load in quality control, the production of Straight Talk 7 and a new soap launch on Etsy!
