Toward this end, he synthesized acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) - which you know as ASPIRIN. It's a totally difference molecule - a chemical cousin.
Bayer trademarked the anti-platelet drug as Aspirin in 1889 and it is now used commercially in place of white willow bark.
But it isn’t nearly as safe!
Aspirin alone hospitalizes and kills tens-of-thousands every year!
The small molecular change made for big dangers! This alteration, technically known as the addition of the “acetyl” group, brought on major bleeding risks.

So, I wanted to make white willow bark STRONGER and last longer.
Using modern day chemistry techniques, I was able to curtail the short half-life of white willow bark, while at the same time increase its pain melting qualities. In fact, I took the active ingredients and raised it from 4% to 35% in Relief FX!
