You're invited to share your thoughts on the City's budget
at our in-district office hours.
Budget season is upon us. Next week
the City Manager will present the initial budget for fiscal year 2018. The City Council
will then deliberate for the next 6 weeks, finalizing the budget mid-September. I want to hear from you about how
you think the City should be spending your tax dollars. I invite you to provide
input at a series of budget office hours or online with this form.
Your first opportunity to meet with
District 10 staff will be this Thursday, July 27, at the Galaxy Café at
8127 Mesa Drive #100. From 5:00 to 6:30 p.m., District 10 staff will be ready
and waiting to hear your thoughts on the top budget priorities. Next, you can catch us on Saturday,
August 5th at the Old Quarry Branch of the Austin Public Library, 7051
Village Center Drive, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. We’ll be in the meeting room
