| Dear Neighbors,
I am writing to remind you that City Council is holding a public hearing on the proposed Land Development Code (LDC) revisions this Saturday at 10 a.m. at City Hall. Residents wishing to speak at the hearing can register at one of the kiosks located in the City Hall atrium. Speaker sign-ups are currently open and will close at 3 p.m. Saturday. Anyone signed up before that time will be able to speak, and speakers will be allotted two minutes each. If you are driving, please park in the garage below City Hall and bring your ticket up with you to be validated.
The first of three council votes on the revised code will be on Monday, December 9th. Residents may come to testify on Monday, however please note the allotted time will be cut to one minute per speaker.
If you have not had a chance to review my previous newsletters on this topic, I encourage you to read the most recent ones here and here. Please note I continue to prefer that we take a more balanced approach that allows for more meaningful and widespread community participation.
Since my last newsletter, staff have released a second supplemental report as well as their response to Planning Commission recommendations. Please find these and the first staff supplemental report linked below.

I will continue analyzing the proposed revisions, and at this point I intend to offer amendments related to many of the concerns I have heard from the community.
