Subject: Strengthen your RPE application using Relationship Smarts PLUS

Dear Friend,

Hope this email finds you well!

As you probably know, the Safe and Active Communities Branch of the California Department of Public Health has just released their Rape Prevention and Education Request for Application.

They have announced that Tier 2 projects, which implement and evaluate comprehensive school-based projects, may use Relationship Smarts PLUS to accomplish the Healthy Relationships strategy.

Dibble will support applicants with many of the essential elements that must be included in the Comprehensive Schools-Based Project Strategy, including:
  1. Trainings for school staff and administration
  2. Support for the Youth Leadership Team
  3. Assistance with School-Wide Activities
  4. Providing Relationship Smarts PLUS, an evidence-based school curriculum, that addresses knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors that help to prevent sexual violence.
We are pleased to work with you to develop an Implementation Work Plan and Guide using Relationship Smarts PLUS to reduce the rates of sexual violence perpetration and victimization and to increase safe, equitable, and respectful relationships.

In the meantime, if you are interested in reviewing Relationship Smarts PLUS, for the Healthy Relationship strategy, please let me know. I would be happy to send you a free, 30-day link to an online copy.

Best regards,

Dixie

P.S. — As we speak, we are developing an online toolkit to help you write a strong application. It will include more information about how Relationship Smarts PLUS will meet the conditions of the grant. In the next few days, I will let you know when it is ready.
