Subject: New potential funding in 2018 opportunity!
Dear Friend,

Many changes are coming in 2018, so I wanted to give you an early heads up about new funding in 2018! It would support your good work of helping young people learn how to navigate their love lives.

We believe that the feds may announce Sexual Risk Avoidance (SRA) funding late March 2018. This funding stream was originally started during the Obama administration in 2016.

In response to that first funding announcement, we adapted a version of both Love Notes and Relationship Smarts PLUS (webpage under construction) to meet the SRA requirements. And, we are happy to report, six of the 21 current SRAE grantees are using a Dibble program!

While the particular focus and timing of this next round of funding is still coming, you may find it useful to:

     •  Study up on the current SRA
     •  Review the proposed legislation
     •  Take a look at both Love Notes and Relationship Smarts PLUS SRA editions (email me 
        to set you up with a 30 day review copy!)
     •  Begin thinking about how your organization might best serve your community with this 
        funding.
