Subject: Mind Matters Updates: What you need to know to get started and successfully implement the program

Dear Friend,

Welcome to the Mind Matters learning community! We are pleased that you selected this program to implement in your good work.

Since many of you have started or will start teaching in the next few weeks, I wanted to send you some info to make your implementation easier.

1) Find instructions for accessing the Mind Matters Client Portal here. This is where you will find the PowerPoints for each lesson along with master copies and bonus activities.

TIP ONE - Once you gain access to the portal, bookmark it on your browser so it’s easier to find.
TIP TWO - Download the PowerPoints to your hard drive so you have them easily available.

2) Carolyn designed Mind Matters to be taught with Participant Journals because they increase the effectiveness of the content. Students use their journal to create an ongoing record of their work as well as return to the exercises, tips, and their own plans after your class is over. Reproducing the journal that came with your instructor’s manual is not permitted because of copyright rules.

You can purchase Mind Matters journals in packs of 5 here. If you have any questions, please call Cathy Guidry at 800-695-7975.

3) Stay tuned! In the next few weeks, Carolyn will start an ongoing email conversation with you and others who have purchased Mind Matters so that she can answer your questions and you can learn together about effective implementation strategies.

Again, much appreciation for your good work! Please let us know how we may be of service to you.

With all good wishes,

Kay
