Subject: JUST FOR YOU - An Applicant Toolkit for 2017 RHY Grant Announcement!

Dear Friend,

Hurrah! The Administration for Children, Youth & Families has released its Funding Opportunity Announcements (FOA) for Basic Centers as well as for Transitional Living and Maternity Group Homes.

We have put together an Applicant Toolkit with lots of helpful resources for you to write a successful grant.

After reading the FOA, we believe that Love Notes or our newest program, Mind Matters – Overcoming Adversity and Building Resilience, will address several of the core outcomes the grant requires for:
• Social and Emotional Well-Being
• Permanent Connections
• Education/ Employment
• Utilizing Trauma Informed, Positive Youth Development, and Evidence Informed Interventions

Further, Love Notes will help pregnant and/or parenting youth learn the basic life skills, parenting skills, and child development knowledge that are required by the Maternity Group Home grants to ensure the well-being of children.

Count on us also for trainings and professional development that ensure your staff will competently and confidently present the curricula as well as acquire the core competencies for youth workers as specified in the grant.

We also have other resources to help you:
• Review the literature
• Develop a logic model
• Build your budget

Please let me know how I may assist you as you write your application! I’m happy to be on your team.

Kind regards,
Dixie

P.S. Take a look at our Toolkit because it will help you write a strong grant proposal!
