Subject: How will you include Relationship Education in your grant proposal?

Hi Friend,

The ACF/FYSB grants for Transitional Living (TLP) and Maternity Group Homes (MGH) have been announced.

As you prepare your grant proposal, please consider how including relationship education can enhance your mission, plan, and meet the needs of the youth.

Healthy Relationship Education like Love Notes, Mind Matters and Money Habitudes2 provide protective factors and help youth avoid unhealthy risks. These evidence-based or evidence-informed programs

     • build social and emotional well-being
     • encourage pregnancy prevention
     • address the impact of trauma
     • use a trauma-informed approach
     • develop closeness in interpersonal relationships and trusted adult connections
     • encourage the continuation and completion of education
     • develop and improve job skills
     • develop money management skills

If you would like to review a digital copy of any of these programs, let me know and I'll be happy to send review copies and answer any questions you may have.

Kind regards,
Dixie
