Subject: Hidden Biases Training on Wednesday!

Good afternoon,

We are thrilled you will be joining us for the Hidden Biases of Good People: Implicit Bias Awareness Training, this Wednesday, December 13, from 9am – 12 noon Pacific.

There is pre-work for you to do prior to the training. Please follow the instructions below to complete the pre-work. It should only take 10-12 minutes.

  • Go to this website: https://implicit.harvard.edu/implicit/selectatest.html

  • At the very bottom of the page, to the left – select “Take A Test.”

  • On the “Preliminary Information” page, at the bottom, select “I wish to proceed.”

  • When provided with the list of tests, please select the Race (Black - White' IAT).

  • If you do not see the Race (Black - White' IAT) test, refresh the page.

  • Print out the results page and bring it to the training. You can also save the results page as a pdf or screenshot and have it available at the time of your training session.

  • Please have a smart phone with you at the training because we will use polling software that will allow you to anonymously submit your results; you will not be asked to submit your results page.

  • We will discuss the group’s results as a whole.
