Subject: Funding Opportunity

Dear Friend-

Hope you are doing well!

In looking through recent funding opportunities, I saw a funding opportunity announcement from the Office of Violence Against Women to work with youth who are experiencing or have been exposed to domestic violence and/or sexual assault. Applications for this grant are due on March 6, 2019.

I believed this may be of interest to you, seeing as you recently attended our second Wednesday webinar: “What do we really know about 'The Cycle of Violence'? Research & practical implications.”

The feds are looking for organizations to provide services to youth that address the effects of trauma and/or implement developmentally appropriate prevention programming for youth. Our programs, particularly Mind Matters and Love Notes, meet the program qualifications outlined in this announcement.

Specifically, Mind Matters was designed to help youth cope with and heal from adverse or traumatic experiences so they are better able to navigate their lives and relationships in a healthy manner.

Additionally, Love Notes 3.0 covers topics such as teen dating violence, sexual assault, and consent from a prevention perspective while empowering youth to achieve healthy relationships.

I would be happy to send you a FREE online review copy of either program in order to help you formulate your approach. I would love to be a source of support, so please let me know how The Dibble Institute may be of assistance to you in this process.

Best regards,

Rachel
