Healthy Marriage and Responsible FatherhoodMarriage/Relationship and Fatherhood Grants Awarded

Nearly $111 million has been awarded to 91 grantees in 28 states and one territory. The Healthy Marriage and Relationship Education grants support comprehensive services including those designed to improve marriage and relationship skills, as well as activities to promote economic stability. New Pathways for Fathers and Families, and Responsible Fatherhood Opportunities for Reentry and Mobility (ReFORM) grants aim to strengthen positive father-child engagement, improve fathers’ employment outcomes and foster healthy relationships.

The media's insistence on focusing on casual sex not only simplifies women's sexual experiences, but also ignores the fact that plenty of people in college have traditional relationships. Answer: “We do know that strategies that promote healthy behaviors in relationships are important. Programs that teach young people skills for dating can prevent violence. These programs can stop violence in dating relationships before it occurs.”
