You are invited!
Research has shown that trauma and toxic stress can take a heavy toll on the minds and bodies of young people, negatively impacting their schooling, relationships, and lives.
The good news is, The Dibble Institute is holding a training on Mind Matters: an evidence-based program that will give you the tools you need to help your youth develop resilience, respond positively to adversity, and learn to address their own physical, relational, and mental health needs.
As a result of this training, you will learn to teach your youth . . .
- Self-soothing skills to manage emotions
- Ways to analyze stressful thoughts
- How to deal with intrusive memories
- Ways to develop a protective lifestyle
And you, as an instructor, will learn . . .
- How to provide a safe learning environment
- Cutting edge approaches to addressing toxic stress that can be taught in a classroom or group setting
The training will take place in Santa Ana, CA, September 5 & 6, 2019. Click here for more details and to register for the training.
We look forward to seeing you there! With all good wishes,
