SUBJECT INFORMATION PRESENTED IN THE WEBINAR

Trauma-Informed Approaches from the University of Texas, Teen Health

We also encourage you to become a member (free) of ACEs Connection: https://www.acesconnection.com/ to keep up-to-date in the field.

GRANT/FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES

Keep up-to-date on grants through our monthly newsletter and Grant Alert page.

  • We anticipate that the federal government will release new grant RFPs over the next few months. States also have funds that will support relationship education (i.e., pregnancy prevention, violence and rape prevention, social and emotional learning). Tip sheets and a worksheet to help you learn more about your state’s funding are on the Grant Alert page.

CURRICULA INFORMATION/PURCHASES

The Dibble Institute publishes Mind Matters. Mind Matters is designed to be taught to people ages 12 and up to help them heal from Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and other negative experiences with innovative methods based on current research and neuroscience. It is meant to be taught by paraprofessionals to groups in 12, 1-hour lessons or to individuals in 21, 15-to-20-minute sessions.

We have just initiated Mind Matters Now, which is an opportunity to learn the Mind Matters content directly from the author, Carolyn Curtis. The pre-recorded lessons allow you to learn at your own pace, on your own timeline, plus you can earn Continuing Education Credits!

TRAINING FOR YOU AND/OR YOUR STAFF

We have lots of options for training, including training for an entire team or training for a few team members. You can learn more here about Dibble training options.
