"If a devotee meditates intensely for at least short periods every day, and has longer periods of three or four hours of deep meditation once or twice a week, he will find his intuition becoming sufficiently superfine to realize unendingly the dialogue of blissful wisdom exchanged between the soul and God."
~Paramahansa Yogananda Self-Realization Magazine Summer, 2011 |

Service Times Dallas Fort Worth Meditation Group
Group meditation is a castle that protects the new spiritual aspirants as well as the veteran meditators. Meditating together increases the degree of Self-realization of each member of the group by the law of invisible vibratory exchange of group magnetism. ~Paramahansa Yogananda

Saturday 3-Hour Meditation Service 9 am to 12 pm Noon
This service will begin with a prayer, inspirational reading and a chant. Periods of meditation will be broken on the hour with chanting. We will be practicing the SRF Healing Technique at the end of the service.
We have initiated a security measure of locking the front door at 10 minutes after the top of the hour. So each hour the front door will be unlocked for 10 minutes beginning at the top of the hour.
There will be a sign on the front door announcing this.
Please enter and exit, and use the rest rooms on the hour during chants so as not to disturb others.

Fall 2023 DFW-SRF Lake Texoma Retreat Saturday, October 28th, 2023 10:00am to 5:00 pm "Silence and seclusion are the secrets of success. In this modern life of activity there is only one way to separate yourself from its ceaseless demands: get away from it once in a while."- Paramahansa Yogananda
We are all looking forward to the All Day Retreat once again at Lake Texoma on October 28th. Master expressed very often the importance of going on Retreats. He stated the idea of a retreat is to escape our daily lives and all of their demands on our attention. The time spent is for totally focusing on deepening our relationship with God and Guru.
The biannual Lake Texoma Retreats are arranged for adult SRF members from age 16, to give the best possible experience.
The retreat is on the beautiful grounds and home of Ms. Lynn Meyer on Lake Texoma, 51 Monarch Dr, Denison, Texas. We suggest you arrive early (9:30 am) in order to have time to settle from the long drive and have some morning refreshments. Also, separate from those worn outside on the grounds, bring a spare pair of socks or slippers for inside the house if desired.
A wonderful lunch will be provided. We need to have you sign-up for the retreat so there will be enough food prepared for everyone.
Please email to: coordinator@srfdallasfortworth.org and tell us how many are coming or use the sign-up sheet in the front room of our chapel.
Please see complete retreat information and directions at: https://srfdallasfortworth.org/retreats-2/
