Don't Put Off Your Search for God
Through the Self-Realization teachings, you can experience these truths of which I speak. But no one can give such experiences to you unless you yourself make the effort. So, from tonight, get busy! Pray with all the devotion of your heart, and you will see God; you will see Jesus or Krishna or the saints. But you must make the supreme effort to behold Them in meditation, or you will not be able to reach that divine state. I hope that you will try. When once you have heard the voice of God, you are on the way to the highest states of consciousness. You will know God as immanent and transcendent, personal and impersonal. Self-Realization Fellowship World Convocation 2022
August 14th - August 20th
This year Self-Realization Fellowship will offer the SRF World Convocation as an in-person program at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles, as well as online. Hotel reservations for the Westin Bonaventure began February 1st and reservations are also available at nearby hotels.
Registration for the 2022 SRF World Convocation began May 23, 2022 and can be done either online at the SRF website https://yogananda.org or by calling SRF Mother Center at 1-323-225-247. Due to this unique time, Self-Realization Fellowship has announced that this year there will be no charge for either online or in person Convocation registration. There will be a donation link for devotees who wish to make a contribution to the Convocation.
The dates for purchasing tickets for SRF Pilgrimages (including Lake Shrine, Hollywood Temple and Forest Lawn, and SRF Mother Center, are expected to be announced later in June 2022. Participation in SRF Pilgrimages are a wonderful way to enrich Convocation and to experience the holy vibrations still present in the places in which our guru prayed and worked.

Convocation will include a satsanga with SRF/YSS President Brother Chidananda, classes on Paramahansa Yogananda’s “how-to-live” teachings and meditation techniques, guided group meditations and kirtans (devotional chanting), and more.

An Exciting Change For Our DFW Meditation Group
Earlier this year our Managing Council together with the Long Term Planning Committee realized the need for our group to become a legal entity with non-profit status. We had meetings with ministers at Mother Center and communicated with other SRF groups that have incorporated. Being an incorporated non-profit church will allow us to purchase a property without a requirement to pay property taxes.
This month the DFW group has taken the first step in becoming incorporated. The eligible voting members (following the requirements given to us by Mother Center) have voted to incorporate. As the next step we have sent a formal request to Mother Center for their approval to continue the process of incorporating as a non-profit church. We will keep you informed as our progress continues.

Dallas Ft. Worth Building Fund
We are pleased to report that due to your generosity the Dallas Ft. Worth Building Fund total has increased year to date by $105,736 as of May13, 2022. We have a current total of $646,580.
The building fund exists for the purpose of allowing our group to have a permanent Chapel when the time is right. We would like to encourage those who can contribute, comfortably, to our building fund to do so. A donation of any amount will be gratefully accepted.
Our building fund is held in an account for us by Self-Realization Fellowship. Gifts to this fund are tax exempt.
