DFW-SRF 2024 Fall Lake Texoma Retreat This SRF retreat is a biannual event organized by the Dallas-Fort Worth Meditation Group. It is held at the home of Ms. Lynn Meyer. Over the years it has been blessed by many SRF ministers and used for an SRF Boy's and Girl's Youth Retreat in 2016. |

On this beautiful Saturday in October these retreatants experienced--
Energization Exercises, Inspiration, Meditation, Kirtan, a sumptuous lunch, and periods of free time to be alone to introspect. They got away from the pressures of daily life to recharge their spiritual batteries in this divine atmosphere.
The 3 level home of Ms Lynn Meyer includes a private meditation room upstairs where anyone may go to meditate for any duration they wish. They may join the group planned activities or be alone with God and Guru. The wooded property sits on the beautiful shore of Lake Texoma, Texas, where Nature is keenly felt.

Service Times Dallas Fort Worth Meditation Group Group meditation is a castle that protects the new spiritual aspirants as well as the veteran meditators. Meditating together increases the degree of Self-realization of each member of the group by the law of invisible vibratory exchange of group magnetism. Saturday 3-hour Meditation Service 9:00 am - 12:00 pm Sunday morning Meditation Service 10:00 am - 10:45 am Sunday morning Reading Service 11:00 am - 12:00 pm Sunday School for children ages 5 to 12 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm. Saturday 3-Hour Meditation Service This service will begin with a prayer, inspirational reading and a chant. Periods of meditation will be broken on the hour with chanting. We will be practicing the SRF Healing Technique at the end of the service. We have initiated a security measure of locking the front door at 10 minutes after the top of the hour. So each hour the front door will be unlocked for 10 minutes beginning at the top of the hour. There will be a sign on the front door announcing this. Please enter and exit, and use the rest rooms on the hour during chants so as not to disturb others. |
