Paramahansa Yogananda Birthday Commemoration Service

Friday, January 5th, 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm

At our Chapel


We would like to invite you to observe this sacred service at our Chapel. The doors will be open 1/2 hour before the service starts. 


Please bring a flower to be offered as a symbol of devotion to God and the SRF Gurus, and a donation in an envelope as a symbol of loyalty and faithfulness to the cause of SRF.


Your donations will be sent to SRF Mother Center and will be used for sharing these sacred teachings with other truth-seeking souls.


After this service we will have a birthday cake for Master for everyone to share.

2024 DFW Group Elections

Sunday, January 7th


Sunday, January 7th, after services, at 12:00 noon we will hold our annual Group Elections for Managing Council, Service Readers, Sunday School Teachers and Assistants. The elected candidate slate will be sent to SRF Center Department to be approved.


Requirements for voting are to be an SRF Lessons Student and to have attended 50% of any combination of our Chapel or Online Services the 6 months preceding the election day.

Saturday, January 13th 10:00 am to 5:00 pm

At our Chapel


This Special Service will take the place of our regular Saturday Meditation on January 13th.


The format of this service will be similar to the Christmas All-Day Meditation.

Please bring a pranami (a devotional offering) of a fruit or fruits. A monetary donation for this service is optional.


Observing the same preparation as one does for the All Day Christmas Meditation will give the best possible experience in this meditation.

Our online calendar will reflect our service schedule.

Saturday 3-Hour Meditation Service

9 am to 12 pm Noon


This service will begin with a prayer, inspirational reading and a chant. Periods of meditation will be broken on the hour with chanting. We will be practicing the SRF Healing Technique at the end of the service.

 

We have initiated a security measure of locking the front door at 10 minutes after the top of the hour. So each hour the front door will be unlocked for 10 minutes beginning at the top of the hour.

 

There will be a sign on the front door announcing this.

 

Please enter and exit, and use the rest rooms on the hour during chants so as not to disturb others.

Wednesday Online Zoom Group Meditation

 

Please join our Dallas Fort Worth SRF Meditation Group online on Wednesday evenings for Zoom Group Meditation and Energization Exercises.

 Time: 7pm - 8.30pm.

 

7pm - 7.15 pm Energization Exercises

7.20pm -8.30 Group Meditation with Inspirational-reading, Chants , Meditation and Healing Service .
