As we approach Easter it brings a sense of joyful expectation to recall that this holiday has, as Paramahansa Yogananda explained, not only great historical meaning in relation to the life of Jesus Christ as an incarnation of the Divine, but also profound significance for our own aspirations of being able to resurrect the latent divine consciousness within ourselves.


This year marks the 100th anniversary of Paramahansa Yogananda conducting the first Easter sunrise service held at the SRF International Headquarters (Mother Center) in 1925. We are happy to announce that on Sunday, April 20, SRF/YSS President Brother Chidananda will lead a special Easter sunrise service livestreamed from the Mother Center.

Spring Lake Texoma Retreat

Group meditation is a castle that protects the new spiritual aspirants as well as the veteran meditators. Meditating together increases the degree of Self-realization of each member of the group by the law of invisible vibratory exchange of group magnetism.

Our online calendar will reflect our service schedule.

Saturday 3-Hour Meditation Service

9 am to 12 pm Noon


This service will begin with a prayer, inspirational reading and a chant. Periods of meditation will be broken on the hour with chanting. We will be practicing the SRF Healing Technique at the end of the service.

 

We have initiated a security measure of locking the front door at 10 minutes after the top of the hour. So each hour the front door will be unlocked for 10 minutes beginning at the top of the hour.

 

There will be a sign on the front door announcing this.

 

Please enter and exit, and use the rest rooms on the hour during chants so as not to disturb others.
