Importance of the festival/event 

Subramanya Shasthi, also known as Skanda Subramanya Shasthi is an important festival for that is dedicated to Lord Subramanya (Skanda). It is observed on the ‘Shashti’ (6th day) tithi during the Shukla Paksha (the bright fortnight of moon) in the month of ‘Margashira’. Subramanya Shashti holds special significance for Lord Kartikeya followers as it marks the triumph of Lord Subramanya over the demon named Tarakasura.

No prior appointment required to visit the temple during Dharma Darshan.
All Days: Open to Annual Poshakas, life members, trustees and sponsors, prior online APPOINTMENT is required.
