Importance of the festival/event
|
| Anivar Asthanam is a ritual performed in Tirumala where in the previous year’s accounts of the Srivari temple office are presented before Lord Sri Venkateswaraswamy by the prinicipal officers and are taken back to signify that the Lord Malayappaswamy finds the officers fit enough to hold their respective offices. New books will also be presented at the feet of the Lord for recording finances of the next financial year. The same ritual will be conducted here in Memphis. |
