Importance of the festival/event

Puthandu / Chithirai Tirunaal is the celebrations of the first day of the Tamil new year. The same day is celebrated as Vishu in Kerala and Vaisakhi / Baisakhi in central and north India. |

As part of the next phase of easing Covid-19 temple visit restrictions, all current Poshakas, Life Members and Trustees are allowed to visit the temple during the open timings (8:00 to 9:30 AM and 5:00 to 6:30 PM). Please continue to schedule your temple visit from our website prior to your visit.
For all devotees, Dharma darshan is every Saturday from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. No prior scheduling is required for Dharma darshan.
