Panduranga Jallepalli died March 12, 2018 in Bronx, New York, at age 72. Born in India July 9, 1945, he graduated from Guntur Medical College and moved to the U.S. with his first wife Raji Rampalli in 1969 to pursue a career in medicine. He completed his residency in New Jersey and moved to Memphis with Raji and their two young sons. He had a successful endocrinology practice in Memphis from 1978 until his retirement in 2009. His first marriage ended in divorce, and he married Malathy Rao in 1992. In 2013 he was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease, and he and Malathy moved to New York in 2015 to be closer to family. He is survived by his wife Malathy, brother Ramana (Jagadamba), sons Prasad (Jennifer) and Satish (Diamera), and grandchildren Vikram and Ananda. He was predeceased by his first wife, Raji Jallepalli-Reiss.
