Importance of the festival/event
|
According to Vedic Astrology, the transition of heavenly bodies like Saturn (Shani) and Jupiter (Guru) have an effect on the individuals born under certain Nakshatara/Rasi. These effects could be characterized as being either positive or negative depending on Rasi (Moon sign) of the individual. To mitigate the negative effect and to enhance the positive effects of the transition, ICCT is performing the NAVAGRAHA SHANTHI (HOMAM) on Shani Trayodasi. Performing Navagraha Homam and pooja after Ugadi (New Year) is important and beneficial for the following Rasi-Nakshatara’s:

All current Poshakas, Life Members and Trustees are allowed to visit the temple during the open timings (8:00 to 9:30 AM and 5:00 to 6:30 PM). Please continue to schedule your temple visit from our website prior to your visit.
For all devotees, Dharma darshan is every Saturday from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. No prior scheduling is required for Dharma darshan.
