Event Overview: Vijaya Dashami, also known as Dussehra, is a major Hindu festival celebrated on the tenth day of the Hindu lunar month of Ashwin, which typically falls in September or October. This festival marks the end of the nine-day Navratri and the Durga Puja celebrations. Celebrations include vibrant processions, the immersion of Durga idols in water, and the burning of effigies of Ravana, symbolizing the destruction of evil.
