Naga Chavithi Naga Devatha Abhishekam & Puja
Monday, October 23rd, 2017 11:00 AM Naga Devatha Pooja is the ritual of performing special pooja and abhishekam on Naga Chavithi which occurs on the fourth day (Chaturthi) after Deepavali Amavasya during Karthika masam. Nagas reside in the Naga loka and their blessings are sought for the welfare of the family. During the Chavithi festival, women keep fast and perform Naga Puja. Devotees offer milk and dry fruits to Sarpa Devata at the Valmeekam or Putta (Snake pits). Sponsorship - $51 SCHEDULE
Devotees are advised to bring Milk, Flowers and Fruits for the Abhishekam and Pooja. All are welcome to participate and receive blessings of Naga Devatha. |
