ICCT Cultural program registration for Maha Shivaratri

Any religious event in Sanatana Dharma is incomplete without cultural performances especially during an important festival to celebrate Lord Shiva and Devi Parvathi. As per Shastras, Shiva, in the avatar of Nataraja is widely believed to be the originator of dance. As part of the upcoming annual PAANCHAHNIKA DHWAJAROHANA DIVYA KALYANAMAHOTSAVAM (MAHA SHIVATRI) celebrations to be conducted at India Cultural Center and Temple (ICCT) between February 26th and March 3rd, 2022 we are pleased to invite registrations from the community for classical dance performances on Maha Shivaratri evening on Monday, February 28th 2022.
Guidelines / Criteria for dance performance:

Indian classical dance by an individual or a group of upto 4 participants

Preferred dance that is relevant to Lord Shiva / Parvathi devi.

Minimum age of participants is 13 years

Participant's family are required to be current year Poshakas

All current pandemic guidelines and restrictions apply (free of symptoms, most up-to-date vaccination etc.)
