Your Will – CD Swanson
“Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.” – (Philippians 2:14-16 KJV)
The LORD expects us to do all according to His will and purpose for our lives. When we do, it should be done in honor and glory to Him, and we shouldn’t be complaining every step of the way. Chronic caustic actions can be a detriment to our growth in the Spirit. When we do all things arbitrarily, we are not aligning to His Word or expressing our undaunted love of Christ. Shining His light and being an example to those we encounter is a responsibility of Christians. Christ wants us to shine “our lights” to those in the dark, and to walk the path of righteousness until we take our last breath. It is then, we will reap our “eternal rewards” of paradise.
In this world, we’ll always face adversity, evil and mayhem. We must consciously adhere to His Word, and accept it is God who is in control. It is only the LORD who can change things within a second flat. It’s His hands of grace that touch us, enabling us to fulfill all that we are intended to do, with exuberance and purpose.
He is the quintessential heartbeat of Christians, the breath of life, and the light of the world. It is only through our faith in Christ that we are able to take on matters with confidence and without fear. He is the source of our vitality.
Do you know Him? All I can say is—the single most important aspect of LIFE is forming a deep intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. Amen!
“Father, thank You for Your promises, Your Word, Your love, and never forsaking me, in Jesus’ name, Amen
